Position Summary
The Vice President of EHS will oversee all Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives across our operations. This executive leader will develop and execute a comprehensive EHS vision aligned with our business strategy, regulatory requirements, and sustainability goals. The ideal candidate is a transformative leader with a deep understanding of risk management, regulatory compliance, and a passion for building a safety-first culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of global EHS strategies, systems, and policies.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations.
- Champion a culture of safety, wellness, and environmental stewardship across all levels of the organization.
- Oversee risk assessments, audits, and corrective action plans to mitigate EHS risks.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to align EHS priorities with business objectives.
- Direct sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) initiatives.
- Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies and industry bodies.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing EHS team across multiple sites and regions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 15+ years of progressive EHS experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of building and scaling EHS programs in complex, multi-site environments.
- Deep knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and international EHS regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Certification(s) such as CSP, CIH, or CHMM are a plus.
