Role: UT/MT Quality Inspector
Location: Lynchburg VA
Salary: $30-$35ph (negotiable depending on experience)

I'm working with a well established steelwork contractor in Virginia, who are looking for a Quality Inspector with experience in ultrasonic & magnetic testing.
They are a big steelwork company, specializing in structural steel and manufacturing. They are a steelwork fabricator and have offices all across the US.
Skills and Requirements:
- Certification or experience with Shear-Wave Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Inspection and Magnetic Particle (MT) examination.
- CWI (preferred)
- Familiarity with drawings, codes, and standards
- Familiarity with visual and dimensional inspections of structural steel
- Familiarity with FCAW and SAW welding process.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
- Interpret structural drawings, codes, and standards with occasional assistance from higher qualified inspectors.
- Perform dimensional and visual weld inspections and other job-related duties as assigned.
- Document inspections and examinations via the use of computers and barcode scanners.
- OSHA 10 certification
