We are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team in a role that combines residential care with community-based outreach support.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a pioneering residential and edge of care outreach service, working across different locations, including Old Windsor, Teddington and, by 2026, Surbiton. There will be opportunities for professional growth and development within this evolving service.

About the Role

The Therapeutic Intervention Worker will provide day-to-day care for children and young people in a family-based environment that fosters positive attachments and relationships.

  • Work closely with professionals and families to understand a child's experiences and provide tailored support that promotes their development and well-being.
  • Deliver one-to-one and group-based interventions to children and young people in residential and outreach settings.
  • Offer emotional and practical support to children, young people and families in their own homes and the wider community.
  • Create and maintain a nurturing and stimulating home environment where children feel safe, cared for, and valued.
  • Contribute to care planning, risk assessments, and multi-agency working to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people.

This role is well-suited to those with experience as a Residential Childcare Worker, Youth Support Worker, Family Support Worker, Outreach Support Worker, Children's Support Worker, Behaviour Mentor, Early Help Practitioner, or Intervention Worker.

If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families, we would love to hear from you.
