Structural Engineer - Steelwork & Architectural Metalwork
Location: Basildon, Essex
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum
A respected steelwork and architectural metalwork specialist is looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to join their team in Basildon.
Responsibilities:
Design and detail structural steel and architectural metalwork elements
Produce calculations and reports in line with industry standards
Liaise with clients, architects, and contractors to coordinate designs
Ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations
Support project teams from concept through to completion
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Structural Engineer, ideally in steelwork or metalwork
Strong understanding of design codes, standards, and software
Ability to produce accurate calculations and technical drawings
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Benefits:
