Graduate Structural Design Engineer
Location: Shrewsbury (Hybrid)
Salary: £32,000 - £42,000 (depending on experience)

About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Structural Design Engineer with 2-4 years' experience to join a forward-thinking structural engineering consultancy. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the structural design of buildings across multiple sectors, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
- Prepare and review structural drawings and models using Tekla and Autodesk software.
- Work with materials such as masonry, concrete, and steel, ensuring designs meet technical and safety standards.
- Support senior engineers in preparing calculations, reports, and technical documentation.
- Liaise with project teams and external stakeholders to ensure design coordination and accuracy.
- Participate in design reviews and contribute to problem-solving within the team.
Skills & Experience Required
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
- 2-4 years' experience in a structural design role.
- Proficiency in Tekla and Autodesk (Revit or AutoCAD).
- Experience designing in masonry, concrete, and steel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
