📌 Key Responsibilities:
✔ Prepare competitive bids by analyzing project specs, blueprints, and subcontractor quotes.
✔ Perform precise material & labor take-offs using industry-leading software.
✔ Collaborate with designers, vendors, and PMs to establish budgets and project scopes.
✔ Build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
✔ Manage multiple bids simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met with accuracy.
✔ Support project turnover and assist with change order pricing.
✅ What We're Looking For:
✔ 5+ years of estimating experience (steel fabrication required).
✔ Expertise in reading blueprints and construction drawings.
✔ Strong analytical skills - ability to break down costs and optimize bids.
✔ Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar).
✔ Excellent communication - comfortable negotiating with vendors and clients.
✔ Organized & deadline-driven - can juggle multiple projects under pressure.
