Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Manager
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Salary: $65,000-$75,000 + 10% bonus

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Shipping/Receiving Manager to join a busy manufacturing facility in Fort Worth, TX.
This is a key leadership role overseeing the day-to-day operations of the shipping and receiving department. You'll lead a team, manage inventory, drive productivity and ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery targets are consistently achieved.
The Role
- Lead, manage and develop the Shipping & Receiving team, including hiring, training and scheduling.
- Manage inventory and work closely with inventory management to maintain appropriate stock levels.
- Ensure quality standards and on-time delivery requirements are met.
- Monitor team productivity and provide performance feedback, mentoring and disciplinary action where necessary.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality policies and procedures.
- Optimise personnel and resources to achieve operational goals.
- Act as a key communication link between employees and senior management.
- Motivate employees, resolve operational issues and make sound decisions.
- Use ERP systems to manage outbound loads and ensure shipments are processed on time.
- Ensure products are correctly packed and shipped efficiently.
- Complete other duties as required.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing shipping environment.
- 3+ years of management experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex issues.
- Good computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of safety and quality policies and procedures.
- Strong leadership and team-motivation skills.
- Ability to safely operate forklifts and cranes.
- Excellent communication, organisational and decision-making skills.
