Senior Technical Support Officer

£22 per hour (umbrella)
Full Time Contract (12 months)
Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Senior Technical Support Officer sin Hackney. This is a contract without a scope for extension working part time hours.
The job:
- To work as part of a team responsible for providing Technical support functions associated with the delivery of the service area functions
- To manage the technical support function, delivering excellent customer focused services and lead on and manage all issues relating to technical support
- To lead on the development of, and be the first point of contact on the IT system used by the service area
- To be responsible for the establishment, monitoring and maintenance and /or provision of specialist financial/project work relevant to the service area
- To supervise technical support staff
The candidate:
- Previous experience in a similar role in a local authority is essential
- Previous experience in a role dealing with Building Regulations is preferred
- Previous administrative experience is essential
- Educated to A- Level or HND level with GCSE/'O' level obtained in Math and English or ability to demonstrate sound literacy and numeric skills
