Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer looking to take the next step in your career with a well-established, specialist MEP contractor? We're seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of HVAC systems for major commercial developments across Northern California.
About the Role
You'll join a highly regarded niche contractor known for delivering complex mechanical projects to the highest standard. Working closely with project teams, you'll take responsibility for the full lifecycle of HVAC systems - from design coordination and specification through to installation support and commissioning oversight.
This role will be primarily office-based, with occasional visits to site to ensure design intent is met and to collaborate with clients and contractors.
About You
- Minimum 3-4 years' experience in mechanical (MEP) engineering, ideally within commercial building projects
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems design, coordination, and installation
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred, not essential)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- A proactive mindset and ability to work with autonomy
