Senior Electrical Engineer

Location: Southwark, London
Contract Type: Agency (Specialist Project)
Working Hours: 36 hours per week

The Role:

Oversee and review works as the Senior Electrical Engineer completed by external electrical contractors
Assess EICRs and agree on necessary remedial works to ensure satisfactory compliance
Monitor and ensure quality of Domestic Fire Alarm installations and servicing
Compile detailed reports for progress and compliance meetings
Conduct site visits for quality control checks and contractor liaison
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to progress work and resolve challenges
Ensure all work is certified, documented, and compliant with relevant electrical and fire safety regulations

BS7671 18th Edition (2382)
Inspection & Testing (2391)
Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification or time-served equivalent apprenticeship
Strong experience in reviewing electrical and fire alarm certifications
Proven track record of working with external contractors and reporting on compliance
Experience working within a social housing environment, with an understanding of its unique challenges
Ability to work independently, with excellent communication and organisational skills
