With multiple concurrent projects underway, the business is seeking a senior leader capable of driving field execution, managing construction resources, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, you will oversee electrical and mechanical self-perform operations across multiple projects from preconstruction through commissioning and handover.
Responsibilities will include:
* Leading electrical and mechanical field operations across multiple projects
* Managing superintendents, field supervisors, and trade personnel
* Developing project schedules, staffing plans, and resource requirements
* Coordinating with engineering, procurement, operations, maintenance, and project controls teams
* Driving project execution, productivity, and budget performance
* Managing equipment installations, utility infrastructure, and facility construction activities
* Identifying and resolving constructability, scheduling, and field execution challenges
* Supporting shutdown planning and execution within active operational environments
* Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and project delivery objectives
* Leading project closeout activities and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
What They're Looking For
Required:
* 10+ years of construction supervision experience
* Strong experience leading industrial electrical construction projects
* Experience managing multiple field crews and self-perform operations
* Background in industrial, manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, or process facility construction
* Strong understanding of electrical and MEP systems
* Experience working within active operating facilities or shutdown environments
* Proven ability to deliver projects safely while maintaining schedule and productivity targets
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Preferred:
* Experience leading both electrical and mechanical construction teams
* Experience with Primavera P6 or equivalent scheduling software
* Engineering, Construction Management, or related degree
* Experience on large-scale industrial, manufacturing, mission-critical, or infrastructure projects
