Job Title: Quantity Surveyor - Structural Steelwork
Location: Athlone, Co. Westmeath, Ireland
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Role Overview
We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial delivery of structural steelwork projects from tender through to final account.
Key Responsibilities
- Cost planning, budgeting, and valuations
- Reviewing drawings and contract documents
- Managing subcontractors and variations
- Preparing interim payments and final accounts
- Supporting tendering and pricing
Requirements
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
- 3+ years' experience (steelwork/construction preferred)
- Strong commercial and analytical skills
- Good knowledge of contracts (RIAI/NEC an advantage)
- Proficient in Excel and MS Office
