Job title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Cork, Ireland
Salary: €60,000
Client:
Our client has a position available for a Quantity Surveyor. Projects are wide ranging, including pharmaceutical, data centres and manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Change order management.
- Subcontract fiscal management and administration.
- Timely Procurement of all subcontractors and specialist suppliers
- Update project accounts and claims for payment on a monthly basis
- Submit and agree final accounts
- Support commercial team in tendering securing new projects
- Contributing to presentations and tender negotiations
- Learn to use 3D Tekla modelling for take offs, remeasures
Experience Needed:
- Degree qualified with 3 to 5 years' experience in Quantity Surveying.
- Must be commercially and contractually aware.
- Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
- Willingness to learn to use 3D Tekla modelling for take offs, remeasures
- Willingness to learn to use estimating software
- Experience in structural steel would be advantageous, but not essential
