🔍 Key Responsibilities:
✔ Perform rigorous inspections of structural & miscellaneous steel (beams, columns, brackets, welds) for defects using visual checks, UT, and dimensional gauges.
✔ Ensure compliance with AWS D1.1, AISC, EN 1090 standards and verify material traceability (mill certs, heat numbers).
✔ Identify & document non-conformances (weld porosity, misalignment) and work with welders/fabricators on corrective actions.
✔ Monitor coating/painting quality (adhesion, thickness, galvanizing) per SSPC/customer specs.
✔ Conduct final pre-shipment audits to confirm components meet drawings, tolerances, and load-testing criteria.
✅ What We're Looking For:
✔ Experience in steel fabrication QC inspection (or related field).
✔ Knowledge of welding standards (AWS D1.1), AISC, and EN 1090.
✔ Familiarity with NDT methods (UT, MT, PT) is a plus.
✔ Strong attention to detail & ability to interpret technical drawings.
