- Build and manage strong supplier relationships with steel mills, processors, and stockholders
- Negotiate best pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
- Monitor steel market trends and material forecasts to drive procurement strategy
- Ensure timely delivery of material to fabrication shop and job sites
- Track and manage purchase orders, inventory levels, and shipping schedules
- Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and the shop floor to align material needs with production timelines
- Ensure compliance with company standards, budget targets, and contractual requirements
- Troubleshoot supply chain delays and implement proactive solutions
