Property Maintenance and Facilities Manager

£275 - £300 per day PAYE.

Join a Property team based in Bromley, who are looking for an experienced Property Maintenance and Facilities Manager to manager the HFM maintenance and project teams until a permanent placement can be sourced.
The Role:
- As the Property Maintenance and Facilities Manager, you will be responsible to take a lead role in managing and reporting on hard Facilities Management across the portfolio.
- Manage multi-disciplinary team of officers, consultants and contractors to identify a strategic annual programme of planned maintenance and to effectively deliver reactive maintenance works.
- Assist the Head of Facilities Management with strategic decision making about the best use of budgets.
- Work closely with other managers within the FM team.
- Responsible for managing the property specific health and safety risks.
The Candidate:
- Extensive up-to-date knowledge of building and maintenance issues with the ability to diagnose building defects and specify remedial works.
- A detailed knowledge of building legislation, statutory requirements, health and safety and CDM regulations.
- An understanding of public sector procurement and contract management.
- Ability to work under pressure, organise and prioritise your own work.
