Property Maintenance and Facilities Manager

Bromley, Greater London

£275 - £300 per day PAYE.

Join a Property team based in Bromley, who are looking for an experienced Property Maintenance and Facilities Manager to manager the HFM maintenance and project teams until a permanent placement can be sourced.

The Role:

  • As the Property Maintenance and Facilities Manager, you will be responsible to take a lead role in managing and reporting on hard Facilities Management across the portfolio.
  • Manage multi-disciplinary team of officers, consultants and contractors to identify a strategic annual programme of planned maintenance and to effectively deliver reactive maintenance works.
  • Assist the Head of Facilities Management with strategic decision making about the best use of budgets.
  • Work closely with other managers within the FM team.
  • Responsible for managing the property specific health and safety risks.

The Candidate:

  • Extensive up-to-date knowledge of building and maintenance issues with the ability to diagnose building defects and specify remedial works.
  • A detailed knowledge of building legislation, statutory requirements, health and safety and CDM regulations.
  • An understanding of public sector procurement and contract management.
  • Ability to work under pressure, organise and prioritise your own work.
