π‘ About the Opportunity
We're supporting a well-established heavy fabrication and industrial services organization operating within complex shipyard and industrial environments. Known for strong self-perform capabilities and long-term project delivery, the business continues to grow and is adding a Project Scheduler to support project management and production planning teams.
π§ What You'll Do
- Develop, update, and manage detailed production schedules using MS Project and Primavera P6
- Collaborate with Superintendents and Project Managers to track weekly progress and milestones
- Monitor manpower, budget, productivity, and schedule performance across projects
- Resource-load schedules based on bid data, production plans, and capacity forecasts
- Create and maintain master schedules aligning operations, equipment, and facility usage
- Analyze schedule impacts, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare graphs, charts, and weekly schedule status reports for leadership
- Support estimators with bid schedules and assist with planning activities as needed
β What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in planning and scheduling fabrication or industrial projects
- Strong proficiency with MS Project and Primavera P6
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and production specifications
- Proven problem-solving skills in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities
