🔑 Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Project Management Office (PMO) for steel fabrication and erection projects.
- Standardize project management processes, tools, and reporting.
- Oversee planning, scheduling, cost controls, quality assurance, and risk management.
- Direct multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Act as escalation point for critical project issues and risks.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure performance and coordination.
- Report on project progress, financial health, and operational performance to senior leadership.
- Mentor and develop project managers and support staff.
- Collaborate with estimating and preconstruction for seamless project handoffs.
- Analyze project data to drive improvements and efficiency.
🎓 Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related field.
- PMP (or equivalent) certification required.
- Minimum 15 years of construction project management experience, with expertise in steel fabrication and erection.
- Proven success managing large-scale construction portfolios and implementing PMO systems.
- Strong skills in project controls, scheduling software, and cost forecasting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with ERP systems and reporting dashboards.
- Ability to interpret construction documents and manage subcontractor/vendor compliance.
