Position Overview: This role requires an experienced Project Planner with a background in structural steel fabrication. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating projects from initial planning through to completion, working closely with engineering, fabrication, and installation teams to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to manage project timelines and requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks and developing solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure clear communication and effective project coordination.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry standards throughout the project life cycle.
  • Review and interpret technical drawings and specifications to support planning and execution.
  • Manage project documentation, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accurate.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Project Planner or Coordinator, ideally within the structural steel or fabrication industry.
  • In-depth understanding of steel fabrication processes and related projects.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar).
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
