Project Manager - Commercial Glazing & Building Envelope

Location: Metro Atlanta Area

Compensation: $110k - $130k + Bonus Potential + Benefits

About the Opportunity

An established specialty contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial glazing and façade projects from contract award through final closeout. This role is ideal for a construction professional with experience managing curtain wall, storefront, window wall, entrances, and other architectural glass systems on complex commercial projects.

The successful candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, architects, vendors, and internal teams while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial glazing projects through all phases of construction.
• Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and procurement plans.
• Coordinate engineering, drafting, fabrication, shipping, and installation activities.
• Lead project kickoff meetings and ongoing progress meetings.
• Track project costs and forecast financial performance.
• Process submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
• Manage relationships with general contractors, owners, architects, consultants, and suppliers.
• Negotiate and procure materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
• Monitor project milestones and proactively resolve issues impacting schedule or cost.
• Oversee project billing, collections, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and contractual requirements.
• Support field operations teams throughout installation and project completion.
• Conduct project closeout activities, including punch list management and final documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience within the commercial glazing, curtain wall, façade, or building envelope industry.
• Strong understanding of storefront, curtain wall, entrances, window wall, metal panels, and architectural glazing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and contract documents.
• Experience managing projects ranging from several hundred thousand dollars to multi-million-dollar contracts.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices and project delivery methods.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, AutoCAD, or similar construction software is preferred.
