🔩 Project Scope
You will manage structural steel projects including:
- Commercial buildings (offices, mixed-use, healthcare, education)
- Industrial facilities (manufacturing, processing, energy)
- Bridge and infrastructure packages
- Structural & miscellaneous steel scopes
- Fabrication through erection coordination
Project values range from mid-six figures to multi-million-dollar contracts.
📋 Key Responsibilities
- Full lifecycle project management from award to close-out
- Review and manage contracts, budgets, schedules, and change orders
- Coordinate detailing, shop drawings, fabrication, and field erection
- Serve as primary liaison between fabricator, GC, engineer, and field teams
- Manage RFIs, submittals, procurement, and material tracking
- Monitor cost control, billing, and margin performance
- Ensure compliance with AWS, AISC, and DOT standards where applicable
- Oversee bridge fabrication scopes (AASHTO / DOT exposure preferred)
🎯 What We're Looking For
- 3-10+ years of structural steel project management experience
- Background in structural steel fabrication required
- Experience with commercial, industrial, or bridge projects
- Strong understanding of steel detailing and shop drawing processes
- Familiarity with erection sequencing and field coordination
- Knowledge of AISC standards (bridge/DOT experience highly preferred)
- Proficiency in project management software and Excel
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
