About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Metal Panel Project Manager to lead and oversee commercial and industrial metal panel projects throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented construction professional with hands‑on experience in architectural metal panels, exterior cladding systems, or commercial building envelopes.
You will manage projects from pre‑construction through close‑out-ensuring schedules are met, budgets are maintained, crews are coordinated, and clients receive the highest standard of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple metal panel projects simultaneously from planning to completion.
- Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, and installation teams.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, architectural details, and shop drawings.
- Work closely with fabricators, estimators, and engineering teams to ensure accuracy and project alignment.
- Conduct site visits, progress inspections, and quality‑control checks.
- Oversee project schedules, budget tracking, material planning, and procurement.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, GCs, architects, and vendors.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and punch lists.
- Ensure safety compliance and maintain a clean, safe jobsite environment.
- Troubleshoot installation challenges and provide proactive solutions.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience managing metal panel, cladding, sheet metal, or building envelope projects.
- Strong understanding of ACM, insulated metal panels, rain screen systems, and/or architectural sheet metal.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical drawings.
- Excellent communication and client‑facing skills.
- Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
- Competency with project management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.) is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites across DFW.
