Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of our steel erection projects. This role is crucial in ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards. The Project Manager will provide leadership, coordinate with various stakeholders, and bring deep knowledge of steel erection processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all stages of project execution, from initial planning through completion, with a focus on timeline and budget adherence.
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and subcontractors to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation to drive efficient project execution.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring issues are addressed promptly to keep projects on track.
- Oversee quality control and safety compliance, aligning with industry standards and company protocols.
- Generate and present project progress reports, including financial tracking and forecasts.
- Lead and motivate project teams to achieve objectives, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Review contracts, negotiate terms, and maintain compliance with contractual agreements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, particularly in structural steel or related construction.
- Proven ability to manage steel erection or heavy construction projects effectively.
- Deep understanding of steel erection processes, safety standards, and compliance.
- Proficiency in project management software, such as MS Project, Procore, or equivalent.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent projects.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
