Core Function
The Project Manager will oversee the successful execution of structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects from inception to completion. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards.

Projects typically range from $100,000 to $3,000,000 in miscellaneous metals and $500,000 to $10,000,000 in structural steel, serving commercial and industrial sectors throughout California.
Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of structural steel and miscellaneous metal projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution, while ensuring adherence to project specifications and client expectations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and subcontractors, fostering strong relationships to facilitate smooth project delivery.
- Monitor project budgets, track costs, and implement corrective actions to ensure profitability.
- Oversee project schedules, coordinating with internal teams such as estimators, detailers, and fabrication staff to meet deadlines.
- Review and process change orders, ensuring scope revisions are addressed promptly and accurately.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction project management, preferably in structural steel or miscellaneous metals.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar).
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in project management or construction-related fields is a plus.
