Job Title: Project Accountant

The Role
- Track and manage change orders, job costs, and budgets
- Transition from ProContractor to Trimble Spectrum ERP system
- Enter and update budgets with cost codes
- Monitor daily job site costs, including labor and materials
- Generate and maintain reports on expenditures and budgets
- Collaborate closely with the Accounting Department and Project Managers
- Report directly to the CFO, working independently with no direct reports
The Candidate
- 5+ years of construction accounting experience
- Proficiency in Trimble Spectrum or Viewpoint software
- Background in steel fabrication, general contracting, or mechanical contracting
- Adaptable to new processes and software transitions
