Core Function
The Production Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the vessel and tank shop teams, ensuring high-quality manufacturing, adherence to safety protocols, and timely production schedules. This role focuses on leadership, employee development, and process optimization while upholding safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Directly supervise shop personnel and provide clear instructions to ensure productivity and accountability.
- Address employee concerns and assist in resolving job-related issues.
- Monitor the manufacturing process, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
- Notify management of discrepancies that could delay production timelines.
- Support the Director of Operations in scheduling employee orientations.
Requirements
- 10 years of manufacturing and fabrication experience in an industrial environment.
- Proven ability to supervise teams in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Bilingual skills in Spanish preferred.
- Ability to recognize defects and suggest process improvements.
