Job Title: Material Management Superintendent
Location: Midland, TX
Salary: $95,000 - $125,000
Day to Day
The Material Management Superintendent will oversee all field and yard material control activities for oilfield fabrication operations. This role ensures timely material availability, accuracy, and accountability to support manufacturing and assembly projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise material handling and inventory control across yards and fabrication sites.
- Ensure accurate tagging, staging, and issuance of materials per work orders.
- Maintain material traceability for coded and pressure-rated components.
- Coordinate with operations, QA/QC, and procurement to align materials with schedules.
- Lead warehouse and yard teams, enforcing safety and efficiency standards.
- Track and report inventory accuracy, usage, and cost performance.
Requirements
- 10+ years' experience in materials, warehouse, or logistics management within oil & gas fabrication or EPC environments.
- Strong working knowledge of pipe, fittings, flanges (PFF), valves, plate, and structural steel.
- Familiarity with ASME and API standards preferred.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Excel.
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills in field-based operations.
