Core Function
The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing efficient manufacturing processes, optimizing workflows, and ensuring the successful execution of production sequences. This role plays a critical part in reducing production costs while maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Create detailed sequences of operations for machining components.
- Collaborate with CNC programmers and machinists to troubleshoot and optimize production.
- Ensure manufacturability of new designs and provide input on cost-effective production methods.
- Work closely with the operations team to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
- Strong understanding of CNC machining operations, including mills and lathes.
- Experience with process optimization and workflow improvement.
- Ability to develop and document standardized work procedures.
- Hands-on approach with a strong problem-solving capability.
