£45 per hour (umbrella)
Full Time Contract (12 months)
Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Lawyer in Plymouth. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.
The job:
- Legal casework is undertaken as allocated by the senior lawyer to include general and specific advice, instructing and liaising with Counsel, professional experts and surplus to capacity partners
- The post holder must draft complex legal documents relating to their caseload
- The role may include assistance with regard to witness statements and preparation of witnesses to attend Court hearings
- Supervisions and training is provided to Legal Assistants by way of work instructions
The candidate:
- Must be a qualified lawyer in England and Wales or CILEX
- Prior local authority experience is desirable
- Experience working within employee relations / TUPE is essential
