Core Function
The Junior Project Manager will assist in the successful execution of structural steel and miscellaneous metals projects. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills to support multiple projects while ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards. The Junior Project Manager will work closely with senior staff to develop project management expertise and ensure smooth project delivery.

Projects typically range from $100,000 to $3,000,000 in miscellaneous metals and $500,000 to $10,000,000 in structural steel, serving commercial and industrial sectors throughout California.
Responsibilities
- Support all phases of structural steel and miscellaneous metal projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution, under the guidance of senior project managers.
- Assist as a point of contact for clients, vendors, and subcontractors, helping maintain strong relationships to facilitate smooth project delivery.
- Monitor project budgets and costs, providing updates and assisting in implementing corrective actions when necessary.
- Help oversee project schedules by coordinating with internal teams such as estimators, detailers, and fabrication staff.
- Assist in reviewing and processing change orders, ensuring scope revisions are addressed promptly and accurately.
Requirements
- Some experience or internship in construction project management, preferably in structural steel or miscellaneous metals.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with a willingness to learn and grow in a project management role.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, or similar) is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; additional education, certifications, or training in construction-related fields is highly desirable.
