Responsibilities
- Managing and directing engineering and design teams for project delivery.
- Ensuring compliance with design criteria and client requirements, adhering to all relevant standards and codes.
- Estimating, tracking, and controlling costs, schedules, and quality; utilizing project management tools for project oversight.
- Leading complex engineering assignments and serving as a technical expert on high-stakes projects.
- Developing preliminary designs, conceptual layouts, and cost studies; conducting detailed design calculations and drafting.
- Preparing bid packages, reviewing vendor drawings, and overseeing material and subcontractor procurement processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- Professional Engineering (PE) License is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of industrial experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Expertise in power and lighting systems, including voltage drop, wire sizing, conduit routing, and overcurrent protection.
- Experience with motor control centers, load centers, 15kV/5kV systems, and associated equipment specifications.
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Human Machine Interface (HMI), and Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
