We are seeking a dedicated and customer‑focused Housing Liaison Officer to join our team. This role is pivotal in delivering a high‑quality, responsive service to our tenants and leaseholders, providing support across all aspects of tenancy management and acting as a visible, trusted presence within our communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the first point of contact for tenancy management queries, ensuring an excellent service for tenants, leaseholders, and external stakeholders.
Support the effective management and re‑letting of void properties, including pre‑termination visits and sign‑ups.
Respond to instances of low‑level anti‑social behaviour and work with partner agencies and colleagues to resolve complex cases.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to service improvement and performance monitoring.
Identify and support vulnerable residents, working in partnership with external services to secure successful outcomes.
Maintain strong working relationships with internal departments and external organisations, including the DWP, CAB, and other statutory and voluntary services.
About You:
Skilled in working with the public, preferably in a service‑delivery environment.
Strong literacy, numeracy and IT abilities, with experience of MS Office and mobile working devices.
Organised, able to prioritise and work under pressure, with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Awareness and understanding of safeguarding and social housing practices.
Strong team player with a proactive, solution‑focused approach and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
