The Role
A fast-growing energy technology company is seeking an experienced Global Supply Manager to lead sourcing and supplier strategy for PCBAs, power magnetics, and key electronic components. This is a strategic role supporting new product introduction, manufacturing growth, and long-term supply-chain development.
Day to day
- Lead sourcing and supplier development for PCBAs, custom transformers, power magnetics, and electronic components.
- Manage RFQs, negotiations, supplier agreements, and pricing.
- Work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing teams on NPI and production readiness.
- Manage supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, and capacity.
- Develop cost-reduction, dual-sourcing, and supply-chain risk strategies.
- Support contract manufacturer sourcing and manufacturing footprint decisions.
- Travel internationally to supplier and CM sites as required (10-25%).
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years' experience in electronics sourcing or global supply management.
- Experience with PCBAs, contract manufacturing, and electronic components.
- Strong understanding of PCBA cost drivers, manufacturing processes, and commodity strategy.
- Experience negotiating commercial and technical terms using should-costing principles.
- Highly collaborative, analytical, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience within EV, energy, or high-voltage electronics is desirable.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
