The Forming Senior Machine Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient machine operation, troubleshooting, and production optimization.
Responsibilities
- Operate and troubleshoot forming machines, focusing on utilization and efficiency.
- Organize jobs to maximize machine productivity and ensure continuous production flow.
- Collaborate with the programming team to overcome production challenges.
- Mentor and train junior operators on best practices and techniques.
- Communicate with account managers to coordinate production schedules and priorities.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; vocational training or certification preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of forming machine/brake operation experience; Amada brakes experience a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
- Familiarity with computer systems for data entry and time tracking.
