Full Time Contract
Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Finance Officer based in Darlington. This is a contract position working full time hours.
The job:
- Assist with budget monitoring using various in house systems and procedures, reviewing revenue and capital budgets
- Assist with year end returns, completion of reports and co-ordination with departments ensuring a smooth process
- Provide business decision advice to managers and budget holders
- Assist in the process of application for, monitoring and claiming of external income including grants applications
The candidate:
- Experience within a similar role is essential, specifically within an Education, Social Care or Public Sector setting
- Experience of using Financial Management systems, such as Agresso
- AAT qualification or similar desired
