Finance Business Partner - Adult Social Care
Location: London Borough of Hillingdon
Pay Rate: £475 per day (Inside IR35)
Contract: 10th March 2025 - 2nd June 2025 (Full-time, 36 hours per week)
The London Borough of Hillingdon is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner to join the Adult Social Care (ASC) team. This is an exciting opportunity to provide strategic financial support to the council, ensuring robust financial management and budget planning.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as a key finance business partner to the Adult Social Care Directorate.
Support the Head of Finance in delivering financial direction, guidance, and support.
Provide financial advice to Corporate Directors, Heads of Service, and budget managers.
Work closely with Senior Management to develop strategic financial plans.
Ensure future service needs are reflected in the council's medium-term financial forecasts.
Translate complex financial data for non-financial stakeholders.
Challenge senior managers effectively to ensure sound financial management.
Requirements:
-Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner in a public sector environment.
-Strong understanding of Adult Social Care finance.
-Experience managing large budgets and providing financial direction.
-Ability to interpret and communicate complex financial information clearly.
-Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.
