Estimator: Heavy Civil Engineering Construction
Compensation: $120,000 - $180,000
Location: New York
Preferred experience scope: Bridges, tunnelling, Highways, Marine, Concrete, and wastewater.

Responsibilities.
* Preparing full heavy civil construction estimates thoroughly in a timely manner including takeoff, solicitation with proper backup, and supplementary information, by using HCSS estimating software for heavy highway civil and bridge projects.
* Preparing / heading up the estimates for heavy civil construction projects
* Capable of preparing thorough estimates and doing a bid closeout.
* Read and review all bid RFQ and RFP documentation to have a thorough understanding of the project.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 4 years of experience in the heavy civil construction field
* Minimum of 4 years estimating
Preferable
* B.S. in civil construction is preferred but not required.
* Experience working at a heavy civil construction company in NY. NJ.
