Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare detailed cost estimates and competitive tender submissions
* Review drawings, specifications, and client requirements
* Complete material take-offs and labour cost assessments
* Obtain and analyse subcontractor and supplier quotations
* Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options
* Liaise with clients, engineers, architects, and internal teams
* Support commercial handover to project delivery teams
* Maintain accurate tender documentation and pricing records
Requirements:
* Proven experience estimating within the structural steelwork industry (essential)
* Strong knowledge of steel fabrication and erection processes
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Excellent numerical, analytical, and commercial skills
* Strong communication and negotiation ability
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and estimating software
* Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines
