Responsibilities:
📐 Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project documents to create detailed and accurate cost estimates for structural steel fabrication and installation.
🤝 Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify project requirements and ensure estimates align with technical and budgetary needs.
📊 Research and evaluate material costs, labor rates, and equipment expenses to develop competitive project bids.
🖥️ Utilize estimating software and historical cost data to streamline processes and enhance accuracy.
🚧 Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and post-bid reviews to maintain consistency between estimates and project execution.
Requirements:
✅ You must have an understanding of MBS Software.
✅ Proven experience as a Structural Steel Estimator or in a similar role within the steel fabrication industry.
✅ Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication processes, materials, and industry standards.
✅ Proficiency in estimating software, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
✅ Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail. 🔍📐
