Job Title: Sales / Estimating Manager - Structural Steel
Location: Wichita, KS (Relocation Required)
Salary: $90,000-$120,000 DOE
The Role
Join a well-established, rapidly growing Structural and Miscellaneous steel fabricator based in Wichita, KS. This role offers the chance to lead a small estimating team while producing high-volume, high-tonnage steel estimates for projects ranging from small Miscellaneous projects to full Structural and Miscellaneous projects
Day to Day
- Produce high-volume structural & misc. steel estimates (hundreds of tons/week).
- Complete detailed takeoffs, bids, proposals, and RFIs.
- Lead and mentor a small estimating team (80% estimating / 20% leadership).
- Communicate with clients and negotiate scope.
- Coordinate with detailing, fabrication, and PM teams to align capacity and schedules.
- Work in Strumis, Trimble or Tekla EPM.
Requirements
- 7+ years structural steel estimating experience.
- 2+ years leadership/supervisory experience (or senior estimators ready to step up).
- Strong fabrication knowledge (70/30 fabrication-to-erection acceptable).
- Ability to handle 200-400+ tons estimating volume per week.
- Must have Strumis or Trimble/Tekla EPM experience (ERP/MRP required).
- Willing to relocate to Wichita, KS.
