Position Overview
This role will ensure safety and environmental regulations compliance and provide engineering support to optimize production quality and efficiency.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead and assist in ensuring safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance of all equipment.
- Monitor engineering expenses and capital budgeting to maintain cost efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement efforts, cost reduction initiatives, and on-floor troubleshooting.
- Analyze product and process data to identify and resolve performance issues, minimizing waste.
- Estimate costs, develop budgets, review designs, and oversee equipment installation and commissioning.
- Collaborate on safety protocols and environmental compliance within plant operations.
- Conduct contractor audits to ensure adherence to safety and standard procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years in Electrical Engineering, ideally in manufacturing or a related industry.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Ability to interpret and create CAD drawings and electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with modern safety control systems and electrical control system design.
- Knowledge of project management, including budgeting and contractor management.
