Quality Manager/ Director

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain the company's Quality Management System
- Ensure continued compliance with AISC certification requirements
- Align quality procedures with applicable ISO 9001 standards
- Lead internal and external quality audits
- Maintain quality documentation, procedures and inspection records
- Identify quality risks and implement effective corrective actions
- Investigate nonconformances and reduce recurring quality issues
- Promote continuous improvement across fabrication operations
- Collaborate with production, engineering and project management teams
- Develop, support and hold quality personnel accountable
- Provide senior leadership with clear quality reporting and recommendations
- Maintain consistent standards across all stages of fabrication
Requirements
- Proven quality management experience within structural steel fabrication
- Strong working knowledge of AISC certification requirements
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems
- Experience preparing for and managing certification audits
- Demonstrated success implementing or improving quality processes
- Strong understanding of fabrication drawings, specifications and inspection requirements
- Confident leadership and team-development abilities
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to influence quality culture throughout an organization
