🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Lead overall plant operations including production, fabrication, logistics, and quality control.
  • Align production schedules with project timelines and customer requirements.
  • Optimize plant workflows, labor utilization, and operational efficiency.
  • Drive safety initiatives and maintain compliance with OSHA and industry safety standards.
  • Monitor KPIs including productivity, on-time delivery, rework rates, and operational costs.
  • Collaborate with project management, engineering, and estimating teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Lead and develop department managers and plant supervisors to strengthen operational leadership.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean manufacturing or similar methodologies.

✅ Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in a fabrication environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong understanding of production scheduling, manufacturing workflows, and plant operations.
  • Proven ability to lead large teams in a high-performance production setting.
  • Experience managing operational budgets, labor utilization, and performance metrics.
  • Background implementing continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean or Six Sigma.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and production planning tools.
