Job Title: Design Manager - Insulated Metal Panels / Wall Systems
Location: Cedar City, Utah - In-person preferred
Salary: $100,000-$110,000 + bonus & benefits
Day to Day
We're looking for an experienced Design Manager to join a rapidly growing industrial construction business.
You'll manage IMP/wall system design packages from award through completion, coordinating clients, architects, engineers, and external detailing partners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing design schedules, submittals, RFIs and deliverables.
- Reviewing architectural/structural drawings and technical packages.
- Managing external detailers and engineering partners.
- Leading technical calls with clients, architects and engineers.
- Identifying design and constructability issues.
- Ensuring projects stay on schedule and designs are delivered accurately.
Requirements
- Strong ability to read and review technical construction drawings.
- Experience in IMP, metal wall systems, building envelope, steel detailing, PEMB, or similar.
- Excellent organisation and project coordination skills.
- Confident client-facing communication and meeting leadership.
- Experience managing external detailers or engineers.
- Tekla experience is a plus.
- Practical experience and proven ability are valued over formal qualifications.
