Job Title: Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
Location: Georgia
Salary: $30 - $45 per hour + Overtime (1.5x) + Benefits + Relocation Assistance
Shift: 4 x 10 Monday - Thursday 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Overtime on Friday, Saturday and Sundays (x1.5 Overtime rate)
Day to Day
Join a leading structural steel fabrication company with a strong backlog of bridge and infrastructure projects through 2029. You'll be responsible for performing visual and NDT inspections, conducting UT testing, reviewing drawings and specifications, completing inspection reports, and ensuring fabricated products meet quality standards.
Requirements
- Current AWS CWI certification
- 900+ documented UT hours
- Structural steel fabrication experience
- Knowledge of AWS D1.1 and D1.5 codes
- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
Preferred:
- Bridge fabrication experience
- NDT, MT, or PT experience
- Background in heavy steel fabrication or AISC-certified facilities
