Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Customer Service Officer based in Shepton Mallet. This is a contract role working full time hours.
The job:
- Provide a front line service for customers, offering advice, supporting services in a professional and efficient manner.
- Offer quality advice across a variety of services, signposting for different departments when required.
- Dealing with low level, first stage complaints, escalating as appropriate and necessary.
- Assisting with application forms, completing online and telephone payments.
- Administrative duties as necessary in line with this post.
The candidate:
- Excellent customer service skills including listening, empathy, understanding and kindness
- Excellent all round communication skills including strong interpersonal skills for face to face interaction and telephony
- Confidence, resilience and professionalism to handle high volume, sensitive and sometimes emotive interactions
- Good computer skills, confidence to learn new systems and use multiple technologies
