Contracts Manager - Structural Steel - Dewsbury
We are recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager with strong structural steel experience. This role is based in Dewsbury and requires at least 5 years' experience in construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main client contact, attending meetings and managing communication.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
- Produce contract programmes, construction plans, and H&S documentation.
- Manage subcontractors and internal teams for design and drawing processes.
- Handle variations, advising clients on cost and programme impacts.
- Oversee financial performance to maximise profitability.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve issues.
- Liaise with main contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure smooth delivery.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years' construction experience; structural steel experience essential.
- Strong understanding of fabrication and erection/site processes.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
