Job Title: Business Development Manager - Architectural Steelwork

About the Role
We are looking for a driven and commercially focused Business Development Manager to support the growth of our architectural steelwork division. Based in Leicester, this role will focus on identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and securing projects across sectors such as commercial, residential, and public realm.
You will play a key role in expanding our presence within the architectural steelwork market, working closely with architects, contractors, and developers to promote our capabilities and deliver tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities within architectural steelwork
Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, main contractors, developers, and key stakeholders
Promote company services and capabilities across balconies, balustrades, staircases, and bespoke steelwork
Manage the sales pipeline from initial enquiry through to contract award
Attend client meetings, networking events, and industry exhibitions
Collaborate with estimating, design, and project teams to support bids and proposals
Achieve and exceed sales targets and business growth objectives
Requirements
Proven experience in a Business Development Manager or similar sales role within construction or steelwork
Strong understanding of architectural steelwork, fabrication, or related sectors
Established network within the construction industry (desirable)
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
