Job Title: Assistant Plant Manager
Location: Orangeburg, SC
Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 (with a potential 10% company bonus)

We are on the search for an experienced Assistant Plant Manager to fill a position in Orangeburg, South Carolina, on behalf of a client of ours who deals with steel fabrication and highway safety.

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or Business is preferred.
Responsibilities:
* Assist the Plant Manager in developing financial budgets and activities to fund operations, maximize investments and increase efficiency.
* Exhibit a strong work ethic and focus on Lean Manufacturing, safety, quality, productivity, and P&L management.
* Identify talent correctly and shows ownership of all aspects of plant staffing and retention.
* Monitor, and maintain production systems, distribution, and customer service.
Requirements:
* Experience with moderate to complex project management in a steel fabrication environment
* Has led moderate to complex operations with products on multiple manufacturing lines including outfitting, and coating.
* In depth knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices.
* Experience in Galvanizing, or Plating is desirable.
* A minimum of 2 - 4 years working with large, highly outfitted complex steel products with many steps in the manufacturing process.
