Job Description
- To provide senior management support to the head of service for the operational delivery of accounts payable and receivable for the Council.
- To support the management of the accounts payable, accounts receivable, and banking functions are managed to perform effectively and efficiently within the FCP&P, meeting the needs of both internal and external customers.
- To support the management of the Council's sundry debt programme and management of payments of SAP AR invoices totalling £620m in year.
- To oversee the operational administration of the councils SAP master data and user management functions and services.
- To provide support for the implementation of a new staffing structure
Experience
- Relevant degree or MAAT or CCAB qualification and / or work experience of at least equivalent level.
- Financial planning
- Provision of financial information to inform effective decision
- making including ensuring the effective maintenance of
- financial records to support this
- Financial monitoring, forecasting and reporting
- Financial administration
- Staff management
